Pass Store was developed with simplicity and security in mind.You can choose to store the password locally (on your device) or on the cloud, whichever way you prefer, the passwords will be encrypted before they are saved.
The Asymmetric Encryption Algorithm (RSA) is used to encrypt the passwords, therefore it would not be possible to decrypt the password without the RSA key that was used to encrypt it.The Pass Store has a great feature to generate RSA keys and allows you to download them as a QR code image or text file.
However, the app can still allow you to upload your own RSA key file or scan an RSA QR code.Some key features: - Save, edit and delete the password.
- Store the password locally or on the cloud.
- Passwords stored on the cloud can be recovered if your device is lost as they are associated with the user account, however, this still requires that you have the RSA key that was used to encrypt them.
- Generate passwords based on user input/criteria.
